Library Mission and Procedure Mission Statement: Our library is committed to providing access to a diverse collection of resources that support learning, research, and personal enrichment. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where knowledge and creativity thrive. Through innovative services, educational programs, and community engagement, we aim to empower individuals with the information and tools they need to succeed. Library Procedures: 1. Books can be checked out by Pleasant View School students and staff. 2. Borrowing and Returning Materials Students/staff may check out books, periodicals, and other materials for a specified loan period (two weeks and/or renew them if they want it for a longer period of time). Renewals are allowed if no other member has placed a hold on the item. There are no late return fines. Damaged or lost materials must be reported (replacement fees or book exchanged). 3. Library Conduct and Etiquette Patrons are expected to maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere. Food and drinks are only permitted in designated areas. Mobile phones should be set to silent mode and no access to them. Disruptive behavior or misuse of library resources may result in suspension of privileges. 4. Use of Technology and Facilities Computers and Wi-Fi access are available for research and educational purposes. Study rooms and meeting spaces can be reserved in advance. 5. Programs and Services The library hosts Book Fairs, AR Field Trips, and reading activities for all age groups. Assistance with research and information retrieval is available from library staff. Special collections and digital archives can be accessed upon request. 6. Donations and Support The library welcomes book donations in good conditions.
