Summit Learning Deep Dive: Mentoring
At Summer Training you received many resources and worked to prepare for a successful start of the school year. Over the next few weeks, keep checking the Scoop for helpful reminders and refreshers to support you throughout launch! Implementing 1:1 mentoring early in the school year is essential to success in the program. During mentor time you will help students set goals, develop action plans, and reflect on progress. You will review the data from the Summit Learning Platform for your mentees, and to help identify if students are struggling or might need additional support and/or interventions. By building authentic, deep relationships with your students you will be able to support them in the process of adopting a personalized learning classroom.

Family Engagement Resources
Now that the school year is underway, we hope you’ve shared these flyers  with your students’ families. We now have flyers available in Spanish as well. We strongly encourage you to share these weekly because one of the most important things you can do to help facilitate successful implementation of Summit Learning is clearly communicating with your families and broader community.
