Have you stopped by our Libraries this year?
Our Pleasant View Libraries have gone through complete transformations.
Not only did our libraries get a new look, they also got thousands of fun books for all students to enjoy.
Our librarian, Mrs. Palafox, has created an inviting environment for all our students to enjoy and get motivated to become Star Readers.

Great Information
- Renaissance Place

Renaissance Place is the program our school uses to track our student's progress. It allows students to take AR tests. If students pass their AR Test with 80% accuracy or better, they earn points.

- How Renaissance Place Works
At the beginning of the year, each student takes a placement test that determines their reading level. Then, it calculates an individualized goal for the year. Students are then encouraged to earn more points. As students earn points they join different CLUBS.

- How CLUBS work
Club 1: 25% of School Year Goal Reached
Club 2: 50% of School Year Goal Reached
Club 3: 75% of School Year Goal Reached
Club 4: 100% of School Year Goal Reached
Club 5: 200% of School Year Goal Reached
Club 6: 250% of School Year Goal Reached
Each time a student earns enough points to join a club they receive an award and prize for their achievement.
The higher the club, the better the prize.

If students reach Club 5, they will attend Roller Town.  If students reach Club 6, they earn the ultimate prize, a trip to Adventure Park in Visalia and they will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win an X-Box, iPad, or Mp3 player.
